Vivid Japanese Designer Floral Dress

£96

A beautiful genuine vintage VIVID: Hanae Mori Ban-Lon dress, believed to date from the 1970s. Hanae Mori was a pioneering Japanese designer whose VIVID label was her ready-to-wear line. She later became the first Asian designer admitted to the Paris haute couture syndicate and her work is held by The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gorgeous quality Ban-Lon jersey with a dramatic pointed collar, gathered long sleeves, deep button cuffs, fitted waist and full skirt. A lovely scrolling floral print and a really flattering classic 70s silhouette. The original belt is missing, but it looks beautiful styled with a simple belt. Please compare measurements carefully as vintage sizing varies considerably.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with light signs of age consistent with a genuine 1970s designer piece. The original belt is missing. Please see all photos for the print, fabric and overall condition. Feel free to message with any questions — dispatched within 24 hours and carefully packaged for posting.
